We contacted the company for information which was provided. Then we had them come out to see the property and we received a proposal that was within our budget and exactly as we discussed on the options we wanted to consider. We got on the list and they began work sooner than promised. We had a couple of hiccups due to weather but it was minimal and communication was great. Everyone is professional, very good communication on timing and supplies and any other issues, and they performed the work exactly as detailed. We are extremely pleased with our pool and deck space! We have the backyard of our dreams and stayed within budget.we went with a stock tank pool that is 12 feet and 4 deep, a heater and chiller. The chiller is a lifesaver in the Texas summer heat.

First I will say, we absolutely LOVE our pool, it was installed well, timely, and serves as a great oasis addition to our home. The construction is so unique and beautiful, well built and sturdy, with a liner that just enhances the whole look. The contractor team was excellent, they took all of our worries into consideration and didn’t just totally obliterate our yard, including excavation and dirt hauling. We were initially hesitant to tear up our yard for this project since we had just gotten it back to somewhat normal after another big project, but the contractor teams worked to make as little damage as possible, so for that I am grateful. They were communicative and pleasant to work with, took our suggestions into consideration and made the worry minimal for us. The installation would have been totally seamless but for a couple of quirks: getting our project finished completely took some effort with calling or texting several times to request the little finishes such as dirt to fill in the gaps between the pool and the grass, or fixing the leaks in the lines, the skimmer was fitted with the wrong door, but in the end all was finished without much more effort. All in all the actual install was about a week, the rest about a month. It was well worth it to have our pool finished, and the price we paid beats any other quote for such a useful pool, nothing fancy but totally functional. We look forward to using it for the rest of our days! Great value for the money/effort.

We are loving our 15’ pool! My 9 and 11yo kids spend hours in this thing, and it’s big enough for our whole family to enjoy together. So glad we did the small deck around one side. Bek Was our product manager. His communication is excellent and he has continued to quickly respond to any questions I have even after installation. I’ve been very impressed with their customer service and understand that they continue to service pools after install Which I really appreciate! I am currently working with stainless swim on a pool and I have to say at this point I wouldn’t recommend them. So far the they have.. 1. destroyed my front yard and part of my neighbor’s moving equipment to my back yard. I understand heavy equipment is needed but no care was taken in trying to make the damage as minimal as possible. Also we payed for dirt removal and there is still a large amount left in my yard. 2. There is little to no communication between the company and myself, no letting us know what the time frames are or when crews are arriving etc. 3. The pump installation still has parts and hoses that are not connected and we were told a crew would be out to finish but so far it has not been completed. 4. The decking was started one day and then the next nobody arrived to continue the project, and agian there was no communication letting us know that nobody would be coming so wasted an entire day waiting around. These have been the biggest issues so far and I hope to be able to come back to this review and share some positive feedback, but at this time I would recommend anyone considering working with stainless swim compare with other options and proceed cautiously. Update 1. The pool and deck were completed and honestly the end result dose look fantastic. All pool equipment seems to be in good working order. The communication has definitely improved since I have made my first post and we do appreciate the effort to keep us more informed on the process. While we still have a large amount of debris left over from the installation we have been informed that it will all be removed in a timely manner. We had to speak to a landscaper regarding the damage to the front yard and were told we needed to level and re sod the area where the heavy equipment was used and have asked stainless swim if they would be willing to help us in the cost of the repair. The representative for the company has told us he will forward it to the management team so will update when more information is available. All in all the process has vastly improved and we do appreciate the effort made.

We absolutely love our Stainless Swim pool. We chose the 15-foot model and built a large deck around half of the pool, complete with stairs on both sides. The craftsmanship was outstanding—everything was perfectly level, and the installation process was seamless. Daniil and his team built us a pool we can use all year round. We swam on Christmas yesterday thanks to the pool chiller/heater combo Daniil (Daniel) included in out package fora more than fair rate. He installed our pool early March and we’ve been using it since then. The quality of the deck, pool and equipment have been top notch. One issue with the seal and they came out same week to replace it — middle of the summer. It has totally transformed our yard and he’s honestly one of the best people to deal with.

The crew excavated a precise three-foot-deep, fifteen-foot-wide hole on Friday, allowed it to settle for two days, and had the pool, plumbing, pumps, and heaters fully installed and operational by the following Wednesday. In total, the entire installation took just four days. The team is a no-nonsense, highly professional group that clearly knows their craft. Their Project Manager stays engaged throughout the entire process and is extremely responsive via text, phone, or email. If you're looking for a high-quality, entertaining-ready pool without spending $200K on a massive concrete build, this is an outstanding alternative—especially for the Texas Hill Country. We also added the heater/chiller to maintain the perfect water temperature year-round. Where to start, I built my house and pool during the 2021 time frame, and unfortunately my pool had ASR (Concrete Cancer like so many thousands of central tx pools), my pool builder was excellent trying to provide help the best they could, but it began leaking without stop at the end of 2024, and would not hold water, at this point it was time to demo the concrete pool (to many kids in the backyard for empty concrete shell) during this time we were looking for alternatives because we were not in a position to take out a new loan for a traditional pool, and the rising costs put the budget far our of reach, then I came across Stainless Swim, after reaching out and swift call return and site inspection, I decided to go with the the Stainless option (mainly because of the team), the team was excellent, sales was prompt and very insightful, Owner was excellent resource and onsite during the whole process making sure everything ran smoothly, total build was under 12 days from footers to filling the pool, and our kids were swimming again, I really like the low cost of maint, and the assurance that I will not have to deal with concrete problems again in the future. I initially had high hopes for this pool company. My first call went great — the rep was friendly, answered all my questions, and set up a site visit to measure. On Sunday I received a confirmation text for my Monday appointment. I was busy and didn’t think twice about it, since the appointment was already scheduled. Then, just one hour before they were supposed to arrive, I got a cancellation text. When I asked why, I was told it was because I didn’t confirm the day before. Seriously? Canceling last-minute over a missed text response — without even a courtesy call — shows a real lack of consideration for a customer’s time. The initial communication was promising, but this experience made it clear they value rigid policies over basic professionalism and respect.

Daniil was a thrill to work with. Best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. It was two months of hell with the city but he kept calm and assist quickly. His contractors were also awesome! I had a tractor supply stock tank at my old house and I love it. So this new tank is above and beyond!!! I cannot wait to finish my dream back yard. I would recommend StainlessSwim to EVERYONE! BEST folks to work with! Remember a 100k pool you get little to no return when you sell your home. Doing this option doesn’t break the bank and it’s a great feature for when you go to sell! Quick scheduling and installation — looks nice. However, the liners on these pools are terrible. We were told they would last for years and had a warranty — they don’t! It barely lasted a year before needing to be replaced and I can already see the new one is not holding up well. We were told this had “never happened” but we know another buyer who is having to replace theirs after a year as well.

The crew was professional, timely, and did a superlative job.. my only comment is that after the pool was completed I was pretty much left on my on to figure out the operation of the equipment and to get it running the way I wanted it. Such a great experience! With the price of fiberglass or concrete in-ground pools being outrageous, and 2ft deep stock tank pool not really meeting our needs, we thought a pool wasn’t in the cards. Enter Stainless Swim! We got a pool that is deep enough to stand up in and had it inset into the ground at a depth that fit perfectly with the look of our backyard. They were great to deal with (even when I kept changing my mind about things throughout the process). The crew that showed up to install the pool were great and had the pool done in a couple of days. We live in a very rural part of southwest Texas and explored many different options for installing a pool - none of which were feasible. We came across Stainless Swim in search of "cowboy pool" options. We purchased a DIY kit for a 21' x 5' pool. Delivery was timely - approximately 10 days after the order was placed. The kit came with pretty much everything needed. The pool was part of a larger landscaping project and was installed 3' in the ground and 2' above so excavation was required. We also opted for installing foam board flooring (acquired locally). These, of course, added to the man hours and labor required. Excavation and installation of the pool took about 4 days. In all, it was a fairly simple process. Attention to detail is a must as is having enough help and proper equipment. This company was great to work with and available and prompt to answer questions at any time. We are very pleased and would highly recommend.

Maks and his team were amazing to work with. They did a very large job at our house. I worked with Maksym for about 6 months, and every step of the way he was always available and communicative. They built the pool and the deck for us, on very hilly and rough terrain. The Trex itself had an issue with bowing in the sun, and his team came out and addressed those issues immediately, even though the issue had nothing to do with their work. Terrible service, there's only one person in DFW and one in Austin. Had an onsite survey carried out, no photographs taken, no notes taken, was told I would get a quote with everything we discussed on the day, by the end of that day (Friday) or the next day (Sat). I ended up having to reach out to the "rep" to find out what was going on, who gave no reason why the quote wasn't sent. I asked again on Monday and requested a text to tell me when it had been sent. I found an email in may junk folder at 11pm, no text message sent. The quote was not for what we talked about with just a basic circle showing the pool, no orientation or where it ties into a current deck or reasoning for why an 18ft pool would not fit in a 27ft gap. The price of the quoted deck was also incorrect. After reaching out several times with no response, I contacted the Austin branch who legitimized the lack of communication from the DFW branch.Would not recommend to anyone looking to install one of these "pools".

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇 5 stars + 100% without a shadow of a doubt I recommend StainlessSwim Tanks for anyone looking for a non traditional pool or a stock tank Pool. I chose a 21’ x 5’ deep DIY Pool kit bc I’m willing, able and capable so there wasn’t any reason to pay someone else to do it. I ordered it and they had it sitting in my garage in less than a week, so overdelivered and underpromised from the start. THE KIT CAME WITH EVERYTHING! The only thing I had to add to it was pvc pipe. It came with all the fittings, drill bits for the return hole and even the glue for the pvc and all the fittings. Max was absolutely incredible to work with and extremely knowledge and was there for me at any time day or night if I had any questions. I chose a concrete slab(which sand would have been fine) and to bury half of it into the side of the drop off behind my house. It turned out perfect! My wife and I built the Pool up from sidewalls, underlayment, liner, pump and plumbing in 2 days! They will do the install if needed but this Pool is awesome! I’ve had it for 2 months now, ZERO issues! Pool gets about 3/4 a day sun and stays about 86 to 88 degrees when it’s 107 - 110 degrees in north Tx. Such an inexpensive alternative and it looks awesome! I still have a lot of landscaping left and a cantina to build but that going to wait til October when it cools down and I get out of the Pool! 100% RECOMMENDED

Living in the expensive Hill Country, we never thought we could ever afford a pool. We saw the Stainless Swim ads and reached out to them. Max met with us at a home already installed and spent time showing us the pool and deck. He then met with us at our home to view our particular setup. We were then pleasantly surprised to get a proposal that we could afford and have installed quickly. The Stainless Swim team installed our beautiful pool and deck in one week and we were swimming in it longer before a gunite pool could be installed. They have been very responsive to follow up questions. To say we are pleased is an understatement. Our pool blends beautifully into our back deck and existing patio. We ship DIY kits by freight to a carrier pickup location (terminal pickup only). These pickup terminals are typically located near major cities, and you can view available locations on our map by selecting your state. Once your kit is purchased, we’ll email a confirmation and coordinate delivery details with you.
At this time, we do not offer home delivery. All deliveries are sent to a carrier pickup terminal for customer pickup.
Your kit arrives as one bundled freight shipment, packaged for carrier transport. The exact packaging can vary slightly depending on your pool size and selected options.
Dimensions and weight vary by pool size and selected options, but a typical shipment is approximately 113 in (L) x 46 in (W) x 33 in (H) and around 450 lbs. Larger pool sizes and add-ons can change the final weight.
You’ll need a trailer, and we recommend a minimum 6’ x 12’. A truck bed is not recommended for safe, secure transport. Most terminals can load the bundle with a forklift, but it’s the customer’s responsibility to contact the pickup terminal in advance to confirm their trailer is suitable for loading and to secure the shipment for transport.
Once your shipment arrives at the pickup terminal, you typically have 3 days to pick it up before storage fees may apply.

The most common issue is underestimating the build. A successful install takes careful leveling, base prep, and basic construction skills. Take your time, follow the guide closely, and email diy@stainlessswim.com early with photos/videos if you get stuck.
This is a real DIY build, so general construction experience is recommended. You should be comfortable using basic tools, doing site prep, and handling basic plumbing connections. The main work is preparing a solid, level base, assembling the wall system, installing the liner, and connecting your equipment.
Our pools are bottomless by design, so the base you build supports the liner and the water. You’ll need solid, level, well-compacted ground—most customers use a leveled, compacted sand base. Make sure the surface is smooth and free of rocks, roots, and anything sharp that could damage the liner.
Yes. Any general contractor can typically complete this project start to finish. You do not need a specialized pool builder.
Most customers complete the build within a couple of weekends.
We recommend at least 2–3 people for assembly and liner setup.
Like most DIY projects, you should expect some minor modifications or adjustments during installation.
Yes. Sloped yards can work, but the pool base must be level, which typically requires excavation and leveling.
No. A concrete slab is not required, and many customers use other alternative foundation methods.
The pool can be installed semi-inground or fully inground when proper drainage and backfill methods are used. We recommend applying our optional Liquid Rubber coating on the underground portion, and leaving at least 4 inches of the pool wall above ground for future maintenance access.
If you choose our equipment package, it requires 120V power and a GFCI-protected outlet located within about 5 feet of the equipment. If you supply your own equipment, follow that equipment’s requirements.
We recommend locating the pool equipment within 20 feet of the pool.
Our pools are made from heavy-duty 20-gauge galvanized steel with a corrugated design for added strength and durability.
Compared to stock tank pools, StainlessSwim pools are typically larger, deeper, use a vinyl liner, and can be installed above-ground or in-ground. Compared to typical above-ground pools, our wall system is much more heavy-duty and designed for a cleaner, more custom look.
Our DIY kits are offered in round pools only. Round pools are the easiest to build and maintain, which makes them a great fit for DIY installs.
Our standard depth is 4 feet, and we also offer custom depth options. We can do shallower options at 2 ft and 3 ft, and various depths between 4–5 ft for the best fit in your backyard.
Yes. Our pools can be installed above-ground, semi-inground, or fully inground as long as proper base prep, drainage, and backfill methods are used. For below-grade installs, we recommend our optional Liquid Rubber coating on the underground portion.
The pool is bottomless by design. The liner holds the water, and the base you build supports the liner and the water.
No. The top edge is finished with our top lock rubber trim, which secures the liner in place and creates a clean, safe-to-touch edge.
We don’t recommend dogs in the pool. Dog claws can damage the vinyl liner.
For above-ground installs, we recommend an A-frame ladder (sold separately). For semi-inground or inground installs, most customers build an exterior deck platform. For interior entry, we offer a stainless steel ladder, but you’re welcome to use any ladder or steps you prefer as long as they are vinyl-liner compatible.
In most cases, no. StainlessSwim pools are larger and deeper than typical stock tanks, so the water temperature is more stable. Since the pool is bottomless, it can also cool naturally through the ground, and the water helps keep the metal from getting hot. Like any pool, temperature still depends on sun exposure and placement.
With proper installation and maintenance, these pools can last for decades. The biggest enemy is leaks, because constant moisture in one area can accelerate corrosion. Water chemistry, drainage, and environment also matter.
We use a swirl bottom pattern liner, which helps hide debris and minor bottom imperfections. Our liner is a heavy-duty 25-gauge vinyl pool liner.
We use an overlap liner that folds over the top edge of the pool. It’s secured with the included top lock rubber trim, and once the pool is filled, water pressure helps hold it in place.
With proper care, liners typically last 10–15 years. Proper care means maintaining balanced water chemistry and avoiding rough use. If the liner is punctured, it can often be patched, even underwater.
The most common mistake is overestimating the size they need. Many customers initially think they need the biggest and deepest option, but the pool often feels much bigger once it’s installed than it seems by the numbers.
The wall system components supplied by StainlessSwim (galvanized steel walls and matching wall hardware) are covered by a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The pool liner and any equipment or third-party components (if purchased through StainlessSwim) are covered under their manufacturer warranties.
Yes. Semi-inground and inground installs are allowed, but proper drainage and backfill are required. For below-grade installs, we recommend Liquid Rubber coating on the underground portion to reduce corrosion risk.
Common non-covered items include installation or site-prep issues (base/leveling, ground shifting, drainage/backfill), liner punctures/tears/cuts, mechanical damage, misuse or accidents, improper maintenance or winterizing, and damage caused by water chemistry issues.
The liner is covered under the liner manufacturer’s warranty for 15 years. Liner warranty coverage applies to seam separation and does not cover tears, punctures, cuts, abrasion, chemical imbalance, or other installation/handling damage.
Rust or corrosion caused by water chemistry, environment, salt exposure, scratches, leaks, or installation conditions is not covered under warranty.
Saltwater systems can accelerate corrosion, so we do not recommend them. Any salt-related corrosion or damage is not covered under warranty.
