Information we collect

You may give us your email address, name, phone number, billing and delivery details, order and payment-related information, project details, photographs, and messages. We collect this when you contact us, subscribe, or place an order. Payment providers process payment details; we do not ask you to enter card numbers in website chat.

Our site and providers may also collect IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referral information, timestamps, cookies and similar identifiers, and interactions with forms, pages, ads, and chat. Subscription records may include your email, marketing choice, signup time and source, status, and delivery or suppression history.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide estimates and support, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, understand visitor experience, and measure marketing. If you sign up for the DIY Build Club, we use Mailchimp to manage your subscription and send the welcome offer, DIY updates, and promotions. Entering your email and submitting the form with its marketing notice signs you up directly; no separate confirmation-email click is required.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary messages about an order or service you requested. Marketing emails may use open images and tracked links to measure engagement.

Analytics, advertising, and chat

We use Microsoft Clarity for site-interaction measurements, heatmaps, and session replay. Google tags and Google Tag Manager support measurement and tag delivery; Meta Pixel supports advertising measurement and remarketing. Hotjar may be used for website-experience analytics. These providers may receive page, device, identifier, and interaction data and may process it under their own notices. Chatbase processes messages you enter to provide chat responses. Please do not enter sensitive identification, health, or payment-card information in chat.

Website tracking choices are separate from email unsubscribe. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although this may affect cart or checkout. For a request to opt out of targeted advertising where applicable, email diy@stainlessswim.com with “Privacy Request — Advertising Opt-Out.”

Who receives information

We share information with providers involved in hosting and security, ecommerce and payments, shipping and fulfillment, customer support and chat, email delivery, analytics, and advertising measurement, including Mailchimp, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Hotjar/Contentsquare, and Chatbase as applicable. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to prevent fraud, protect safety, or establish or defend legal claims.

Retention and your choices

We keep different records for different periods depending on order support, transaction recordkeeping, subscription management, marketing suppression, security, and applicable legal requirements. You may ask about retention or request deletion; some records may need to remain where law permits or requires it.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information, or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. Email diy@stainlessswim.com and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity or an agent’s authority. To appeal a privacy-request decision, write to the same address with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
